The display also provides information from optional systems such as the Linde Warehouse Navigation. The color display allows the driver to keep an eye on important parameters such as speed, lifting height, remaining load capacity and steering angle. The control panel of the V modular can be mounted on the mast end, load end or on both ends depending on the requirements. The patented ergo pad from Linde allows the operator to lean back, relieving muscle tension. A convenience cover on the mast end of the cabin is available on request, and this offers additional storage space e.g. The driver can work comfortably in the spacious driver’s compartment. A soft floor mat cushions vibrations and prevents the driver getting tired. The wide cabin entrance and low entry height facilitate access to the V modular, while the low railing makes it easier to pick up and put down goods. For wide-aisle applications, the optional Red Warning Lines light system ensures that pedestrians and other trucks keep a sufficient distance from the truck. The Linde System Control calculates the remaining load capacity for the respective lifting height and warns the driver if there is a risk of overloading. The mobile personal safety equipment (mobile PSE) monitors the route and stops the truck if people or obstacles are detected. For example, the aisle safety assistant can be used to define travel and lift stops in order to avoid collisions with the infrastructure. Furthermore, the V modular can optionally be equipped with various assistance systems. The emergency lowering valve under the rear cover is easy to access in a hazardous situation. In addition, the truck will not lift the cabin beyond a height of 1.2 meters if the electrically monitored side barriers are not closed. This means that operating errors and the risk of the operator being injured are almost excluded. In order to move the V modular, the driver must cover the sensor-monitored control elements with both hands and at the same time operate the dead man’s switch with their foot.
